Founder: Matthew Sanes

Representing the third generation of financial professionals in his family, Matthew Sanes began his career in financial services in 2006. Born and raised in Florida, Matthew took a distinctive path by starting his career with a national wholesaler rather than a traditional brokerage firm. This experience allowed him to deeply understand the investment structures behind financial products, rather than simply focusing on sales quotas.

Matthew often shares, “Working for a wholesaler instead of Wall Street accelerated my professional growth immensely. I gained insights and experience that typically take decades to accumulate. I observed firsthand what makes financial advisors successful—and what doesn’t.”

Today, Matthew serves a diverse range of clients, including first responders, professionals across multiple industries, retirees preparing for their futures, and medium-sized businesses with over 200 employees. His passion stems from his belief in the profound impact financial planning can have on people’s lives. “Aside from medicine, financial planning is one of the few professions where your work significantly shapes the quality of people’s lives,” he says.

Under his leadership, his firms employ advanced financial planning tools that extend beyond historical performance analysis. Matthew firmly believes, “Controlling investment costs and maximizing tax efficiency is essential. Although market returns fluctuate, aggressively managing fees and optimizing tax strategies consistently increases the long-term growth of our clients’ portfolios.” His commitment to independence ensures unbiased recommendations based on a comprehensive range of investment options.

Matthew holds a Series 66 license as an investment adviser representative and is a supervised person of Fortitude Advisory Group, LLC. He is also licensed in Florida as an insurance producer for Life, Health, and Disability coverage. He previously served as secretary-treasurer of the Palm Beach Chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and remains actively involved in several professional organizations.

In addition to his professional career, Matthew is an adjunct instructor at American Heritage High School, where he co-designed and teaches the Finance and Accounting class as part of the pre-business professional program.

Matthew is married to his college sweetheart, Jennifer Sanes, a CPA and Chief Financial Officer for a leading property and casualty insurance firm. Outside the office, Matthew is an avid cyclist who regularly competes in mountain bike races throughout Florida. He is also a three-time finisher of the prestigious Leadville 100 endurance mountain bike race and has competed nationally in many other events.
